M.i.h Jeans is the original British denim label, founded as Made in Heaven by 1969 and re-launched by the Goddaughter of the original founder, Chloe Lonsdale, in 2006.
Her vision has been to create a progressive denim brand with a seventies aesthetic and to continue to reduce the environmental and social impact of the business. Since 2006, M.i.h Jeans has sourced consciously and made high quality, ethical decisions throughout the supply chain. Their partnership with ISKO denim mill accelerated this focus, developing new sustainability standards and techniques.
Last year‘s partnership with Eco Age led to the launch of the Paradise capsule, the lowest impact denim M.i.h Jeans can make today. This project saw M.i.h create a new exclusive denim made from traceable, certified organic cotton, utilising water-reducing laser technology, low-impact treatments and recycled trims as well as implement a responsible denim upcycling initiative to inspire other brands to take accountability for the lifecycle of their items post sale.
Paradise is a statement of the future intent of M.i.h Jeans to become a leader in denim sustainability and to continue to advocate for change in the industry.
